Your treatment goals - Your goals for the therapeutic session is of the utmost importance to us. We thrive to exceed those goals in as short a time as possible. We are working towards internal homeostasis (rebalance your system as a whole) rather than mere symptom reduction or quick fixes.

 Therapeutic massage and energy work is a PROCESS. Most of our clients require a course of treatment, rather than a single treatment, in order to get what they want from the session. We encourage you to stick with this process, and give us feedback about what is working for you, so you can get the results you want.

 Short-term care and expected results - Typically, therapeutic massage is not a one-time fix, especially if you have an ongoing issue or one that has been going on for some time. Most people find it difficult to remember to do self-care, especially if they are stressed out.


◽ PROBLEM SPECIFIC: If you need some specific work done, a therapeutic massage every 2 to 4 weeks should help you make progress quickly.

◽ REGULAR SELF-CARE: A therapeutic massage every 4 to 6 weeks should help keep yourself in optimal shape (along with a balanced diet and regular exercise). ​

◽ CHRONIC CONDITIONS: If you want to make progress quickly, you might need a weekly session for a couple of months, depending on the issue.

 How we will meet your goals - We work very comprehensively with each client. We will address the root causes and work along with you to help your system correct itself. This may include lifestyle recommendations (i.e., other complimentary healing modalities, meditation, stretches, etcetera) to facilitate and support your body's own healing process.

◽ Therapeutic massage can help improve circulation, concentration, and posture, increase joint flexibility, promote better sleep and faster healing of injured muscular tissue, reduce anxiety and blood pressure, release chronic muscular tension and pain, reduce mental and physical fatigue and stress. 

◽ Your therapeutic session begins with having you complete a Confidential Intake form to collect medical history information and determine your goals for the session. We will discuss your goals for the session. Afterward, I will show you the treatment room, and will then exit the room while you disrobe to the level of your comfort.

◽ It is recommended that you undress to your desired level of comfort in a comfortable, quiet room. Some clients prefer to be completely undressed while others prefer to keep their undergarments on. This is completely up to you! You will be given complete privacy and have plenty of time to undress, relax on a heated table, and cover yourself with the linen sheet and fluffy blanket. You will be properly draped and/or covered at all times! Only the area being worked on will be exposed.
 
◽ After a couple of minutes, we will knock on the door prior to coming in to make sure you are completely under the covers, and ready to start your therapeutic massage session.
 

◽ Remember that your appointment is TIME SET ASIDE JUST FOR YOU!

◽ We understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life.
To respect the schedule and time of your therapist, and in our desire to be effective and fair to all of our clients, we require at least 24-hours notice when canceling an appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule a therapeutic appointment. 

◽ If you cancel your appointment with less than 24-hour notice, you will be charged in full for the session. This fee may be waived per individual circumstance at the discretion of your therapist – only if it's an emergency cancellation due to car trouble, inclement weather, medical emergencies, or sickness.

◽ If you are sick — have a fever, cold/flu, or a contagious skin infection, it is best to reschedule your therapeutic massage. Please cancel your appointment as soon as you feel you have come down with something! If you are sick and in the early and most contagious stage (first 48 to 72 hours) of a fever, cold/flu, or a contagious skin condition, please, do NOT come in. It is best to reschedule your therapeutic massage and remember that we require a 24-hour notice. We understand that sometimes illness comes unexpectedly, and you will not be charged any fees. We will gladly get you rescheduled as soon as we are able to.
 
◽ If you are unsure, please call so we can discuss your condition and determine whether it's appropriate for you to receive a therapeutic massage.

It takes a culture of care and collective action to protect our entire community against COVID-19 and its variants (Delta, Omicron). Please, know that while no place outside your home can be 100% without risk, we are doing everything we can to ensure your health and safety. ◽ If you have COVID-19 symptoms or have come in close contact with someone who has had COVID-19 symptoms, please reach out to us as soon as possible to reschedule!

If you have COVID-19 symptoms or have come in close contact with someone who has had COVID-19 symptoms, we reserve the right to ask you to show either:
a) Your vaccine certificate 
b) A signed medical exemption
c) A negative covid test within 72 hours PRIOR to your appointment
d) Request that you complete an At-Home BINEX Rapid Test PRIOR to your appointment
e) Or fill out a COVID-19 Informed Consent To Treat form where you confirm you are COVID-19 free

◽ Per CDC guidelines, if you have traveled internationally or domestically within the United States by commercial bus/plane/train in the past 10 days, it is recommended you stay home.
a) Please, quarantine for a FULL 7 DAYS after travel.
b) If you don't get tested, stay home and self-quarantine for 10 DAYS after travel, before coming in for your appointment.


◽ You can now pick up an At-Home BINAX Rapid Test @ Walmart over the counter OR test for free @ Walgreens with an appointment. 

◽ If you are over 70 years old and have not been fully vaccinated, especially if you have diabetes, heart disease, are immune compromised or lung compromised, or if you have someone in these high risk categories in your immediate household, you are welcome to come in for treatment. But, please, keep in mind that despite precautions, there is NO RISK FREE SCENARIO in an active healthcare practice.

◽ We are doing everything we can to protect you, including but, not limited to frequent disinfecting and a HEPA filter running continuously in the treatment room. We daily, meet or exceed all local, state, and regulatory guidelines relating to sanitation and hygiene. If you are comfortable with the risk, we would love to see you! 

If you are running late, please give me a courtesy call or send us a quick text message at (720)-722-0471. Out of respect for the clients scheduled after you, if you are late, you will only receive the amount remaining of your scheduled appointment including the time needed to fill out paperwork. You will be charged the full amount for the reserved time despite a shortened session time.

◽ This includes being too late to perform the service or not showing up for the appointment. No shows will be charged the full amount of the session. If you have a gift certificate, it will be considered null and void. If you have a treatment package, that treatment will be deducted.
